RECOMMENDATIONS TO AUTHORS

ON THE PREPARATION OF MANUSCRIPT

1. GENERAL

Papers presented at conference „Compressors´2006“ will be published as next part of the series proceedings from the conferences about compressors. A copy process in A4 will be used. In order to achieve homogeneity in the presentation of the proceedings, the following format should be used.

2. TEXT

Extent: Each manuscript should not be more than eight (8) pages long.

Page format: All text in the manuscript must be located within an 160 mm by 232 mm area centered on a white A4 page. For the standard DIN A4 size (210 by 297 mm) this corresponds to top and bottom margins of 32.5 mm and left and right margins 25 mm.

Language: Papers can be submitted in English. Each paper shall have an information summary (up to 150 words in length).

Terminology: The terminology given in the New International Dictionary of Refrigeration is strongly recommended.

Font: All text shall be single spaced, black, 10 point type. Times Roman or a similar proportional font is recommended. Letters and numbers used in figures may be larger to ensure clarity.

4. Abstract

            The first major section of the manuscript shall be a summary of the paper in English of less than 150 words in length in a single paragraph.

 

5. PATTERN OF DESIGN OF MANUSCRIPT

            Here you can read and download the detailed guide to patterns for abstract and manuscript's first page, figures, tables, references and so on.

6. PRESENTATION

            Presentation at the conference will be limited from 15 to 20 minutes and will be translated into English, and Slovak. Discussion will be organized after the block of presentations according to the program of the conference.
