Abstract

The 10th International Conference on Compressors and Refrigerants has a special value resulting from the uniqueness of its scope, because the main substantive topics are all aspects related to the development of compression technology. During previous editions of this conference, the sessions were also accompanied by demonstrations and technical workshops demonstrating practical aspects of the development of compressors technology for refrigeration and heat pumps engineering. During all of the editions of this conference, many papers were presented on a new trends for refrigeration engineering connected with jet ejector technologies. During this edition of the conference, two sessions are devoted to this new and interesting research and development area.
Choice of six papers recommended for IJR according to the IIR rules based on decision of reviewers:
1.Cesar Deschamps, Numerical Analysis of the Transient Compressible Fluid Flow in the Piston-Cylinder Clearance of an Oil-Free Linear Compressor
2.Admund Ervik, Modelling the Dynamics of Ring Plate Valves in Reciprocating Compressors Using Coupled CFD-FEM Simulations
3.Ján Bossányi, Liquid Slugging in Reciprocating Compressor
4.Stephan Göbel, Evaluating of refrigerants using a dynamic reciprocating compressor model
5.Jose Miguel Corberan, Characterization methodology for vapor injection scroll compressors of variable speed
6.Paolo Martins, Compressor Muffler Design Considering Fluid-Structure Interaction
